Products displayed on this website can be ordered ONLINE
ONLY.
Sometimes we may need further
information from yourself about the purchase of certain
products therefore it may delay your order if you do not
reply to our e-mails.
On
placing an order, you will receive an email stating that
the order has been ‘processed’, ’declined’ or
’cancelled’. This preliminary email does not guarantee
delivery of the goods. Goods are only confirmed as
shipped when you receive a ‘completed’ email, meaning
your order has been dispatched.
We
generally only deliver within the UK. The
website will show carriage costs for international
delivery, once you have entered your postal address. In
some circumstances if for any reason the shipping has
been calculated inaccurately due to reasons of location
or anything outside our control, we will inform you and
propose a solution. Once received, your order is put
together by our dedicated staff, and where appropriate,
by our pharmacists who are members of the Royal
Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Orders are
generally dispatched by Royal Mail or by Courier. Royal
Mail recorded or Couriers will require a signature, and
will deliver between 9am and 5pm on weekdays only.
Please specify an address where someone will be able to
sign for your goods between these hours. We reserve the
right to change postal methods if circumstances require
it. Occasionally your order will be sent in multiple
dispatches (e.g. due to stock levels, difficult to
package goods, etc.). Every effort will be made to
deliver within the time stated. However, we accept no
liability for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
Orders are dispatched by Royal mail recorded or by
courier who deliver Monday to Saturday. If there is no
one to sign for the order when it arrives to you it will
generally go back to your local Royal mail sorting
office where you will have seven days to collect before
it is returned to us. You should be informed of the
unsuccessful delivey by a card being left at the time
the unsuccessful delivery is attempted by the royal
mail. (Please note we are not responsible for the
actions of the Royal Mail). If it is returned to us we
have the right to request another delivery charge before
re-dispatching it to you. If the goods are not delivery are not delivered on time,

of your order. We will ensure that you receive your order as
quickly as possible. This does not affect your statutory

We will try out best to get goods
delivered within the time stated but sometimes this is
not possible due to certain things being out of our
control, for example stock availability, weather
conditions, royal mail strikes etc
All prices are in pounds sterling (£UK).
Ordering from within the UK, all major Credit Cards and
Debit Cards are acceptable.
Ordering from outside of the UK, payment can only be
accepted by credit card.
Payment is normally debited from your account within 48
hours of your order.
Cheques or Postal Orders can be accepted (instructions
for this are emailed to you on acceptance of your
order). Goods will only be released on cleared funds.
On your transaction statement it may
say "B Singh Pharmacy" which is the name of the company
which owns PharmacyNearU.
We have a total
satisfaction guarantee policy. If for any reason you are
not happy with a product please let us know within 7
days of its arrival by phone. Goods must be returned
within 7 days of its arrival in their original packaging
and have not been tampered with in any way. A handling
and management charge of 10% will be deducted from the
value of returns. The handling and management charge
will be waved if the products have been sent in error or
are faulty. Please pack securely and also insert a note
for reason of return and post to the following return

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to
make producers pay for the collection, treatment and
recovery of waste electrical equipment. The
regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment
like high street shops and internet retailers must
allow consumers to return their waste equipment free
of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by
around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing
waste stream in the UK.
· Much
of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead
and other toxins it contains can cause soil and
water contamination. This can have a harmful effect
on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
· Many
electrical items that we throw away can be repaired
or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our
natural finite resources and also reduces the
environmental and health risks associated with
sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic
Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the
amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
PharmacyNearU
is obliged under these regulations to offer our
customers free take-back of their WEEE on a
like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical
or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a
customer bought a new
blood pressure monitor from us we would
accept their old blood
pressure monitor and prevent it going
into a landfill site by disposing of it safely.
Customers must return their WEEE item to us within
28 days of purchasing their new item.
Under the WEEE
Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be
marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown
below:

Goods are marked
with this symbol to show that they were produced
after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of
separately from normal household waste so that they
can be recycled.
All rights in the designs and information are protected
by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property
rights.
